AFGE Introduces Online System to Track Employee Grievances

AFGE is proud to introduce CaseTrack, a web-based grievance tracking system application that will allow Local Presidents to access up-to-the-minute reports and case information at any time.

Having all of the Members grievance data in one place eliminates redundancy and helps local stewards manage and respond to cases. Most importantly, it ensures that no grievance gets overlooked, and maximizes the chance of a positive resolution.

CaseTrack has been designed to be user-friendly. Cases can be retrieved by agency, local, concerned party, case type, case designation, or issue. Additionally, cases can be categorized by employee grievance, union-management grievance, unfair labor practice, MSPB, EEO, notice of change, or congressional contact.

In order to have access to all of the cases in a local, and to decide who can use the system, the local president must FIRST register as a local administrator. Using a non-government e-mail address, Local Presidents should send their name, address, preferred e-mail address, and desired username and password to casetrack@afge.org (passwords must be at least 6 characters and at least one of them must be a number or a special character such as # or &). Once registered as administrator, the LP can appoint stewards or other union representatives who will be inputting the cases and give them access to the system. This can be done two ways. The union representatives who want to use the system can register using the registration link located at www.afge-casetrack.org. The LP then can accept or deny the registration using the “registration administration” feature that will be available once the LP becomes a local administrator. If the LP prefers, he or she can directly add users through the “users administration” feature by clicking on “add user.”

REMEMBER: LP must register separately first as the local administrator. Thereafter, stewards and other union representatives may register and the LP can enter them into the system.
