If TSA Workers Win Union Rights, AFGE Is Union Favored To Represent Them

If the Transportation Security Administration workers are granted the right to collectively bargain the AFL-CIO backs the American Federation of Government Employees as the union that should represent them. The TSA was established after September 11, 2001 and in the legislation that created the organization the TSA administrator was declared the decision maker on whether or not workers could collectively bargain.
