CHEYENNE — The Wyoming congressional delegation says the Cheyenne Veterans Affairs Medical Center will continue to offer surgical services.

U.S. Sens. Mike Enzi and John Barrasso and Rep. Cynthia Lummis applauded the decision by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Earlier this year, the VA visited its medical facilities around the country with the intent of reducing surgical services at some hospitals based on reviews of each facility.

Wyoming has VA hospitals in Cheyenne and Sheridan.
