File a Claim

Current, former or retired federal civilian employees may be entitled to compensation for improperly charged military leave. Prior to 2000 federal agencies charged military reservists for days which they were not required to work. A recent landmark ruling (originally known as Butterbaugh) allows affected individuals to file claims.

AFGE has entered into a co-counsel relationship with Tully, Rinckey PLLC. AFGE members will be provided with legal services to at no cost to any federal civilian employee eligible for military leave compensation.
