Beware of 'Union Workers Credit Services', they are NOT Endorsed by AFGE

Consumer Alert!

AFGE has received several complaints and inquiries from members about a ‘credit card’ offer from Union Workers Credit Services. Their web site implies that they are associated with AFGE and other unions. They are not. AFGE’s General Counsel has written to this company and demanded they remove our name from their web site.

Beware of any credit card offer that requires you to pay a fee before you can learn the details of the offer. And be sure that the credit card solicitation is from a bank that actually issues regular credit cards and is not a company, such as Union Workers Credit Services, that provides you with a card that can be used only to order merchandise from a catalog.

Please spread the word so your co-workers are protected from this misrepresentation of an AFGE benefit program.
