DHS Employee Survey Shows Dissatisfaction with Management

Federal employees at the Department of Homeland Security like their jobs and believe what they do is important, but they are not happy with how they are treated by management. According to a 2007 DHS job satisfaction survey released last week, DHS employees overwhelmingly show how committed they are to their agency's mission, as 80 percent like their jobs and 90.5 percent recognize that their jobs are important. But these dedicated employees also voiced several serious concerns over how they are treated by their managers.
