Airport union formed

The American Federation of Government Employees officially chartered Local 332 on Monday, which will represent 122 transportation security officers at Pittsburgh International Airport. The national union appointed Kim Kraynakas the local's interim president until elections can be held for officers with three-year terms, said AFGE spokesman Bob Bonner. Local 332 is the union's 22nd local organization. The union, based in Washington, represents 600,000 government workers, including Transportation Security Administration workers at 129 airports.
