What is How to Lead Effective Locals Training Program?
A highly interactive and immersive blended training program for local and council leaders. The course incorporates self-paced learning modules, webinars and concludes at a 4-day in-person workshop in Washington, D.C.
This program provides participants with tools, skills, and resources to increase their impact in building a stronger, more effective local. Participants will learn and practice key leadership and organization development principles and skills that can be immediately applied to their efforts in strengthening their capacity to lead; ultimately thinking better and executing better for their locals and/or council. WHEN/WHERE: In-person session dates are Tuesday, Oct. 15 through Friday, Oct. 18, and will take place onsite at the AFGE National Headquarters at 80 F Street, NW, Washington, D.C. The beginning of this course (self-paced modules and Zoom workshops) will be hosted online using AFGE LEARN, and learners will have access to material upon confirmation of registration.

Program fee is $115. Participants must arrange their own travel accommodations to travel to Washington, D.C. for the in-person workshops.
