PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Police Department, in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security and Transportation Security Administration, is investigating complaints of theft at Sky Harbor International Airport.

Phoenix police Detective Reuben Gonzales said the complaints came from passengers who were missing items from their luggage. The baggage was either loaded or unloaded out of Terminal 3.

Phoenix police and the TSA interviewed several members of a contract company working at Sky Harbor regarding the missing property. Police say no arrests were made and this investigation is ongoing.

Police say while traveling on any airline, keep any valuable items with you and do not check them in your baggage. Stay in control of carry-on baggage at all times.
