Election Day is a little over a month away on Nov. 5. In addition to the presidential race, 33 Senate seats and all 435 House seats are up for election. Whoever wins the White House and Congress will have a profound impact on our union and the lives of government workers who carry out agency missions and provide the services to the American people.
AFGE talked to our members about why this election is important to them.
In this 4th video of the series, Michael Knowles talks about the importance of electing the candidate that supports federal employees and promotes democracy and how Project 2025 undermines U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)’s mission and employees. Michael is president of AFGE Local 1924 representing USCIS employees in the National Capital Region.
