A new survey of the flying public finds many enjoy their experience at Orlando International Airport.
However, the latest J.D. Power and Associates survey finds customer satisfaction with U.S. airports is down overall.
Among large airports, Philadelphia International ranks first, followed by OIA and McCarran International in Las Vegas.
Passengers told researchers with J.D. Power and Associates that they felt Orlando's security screening was more efficient than most.
"Orlando has the highest index score in the security check measure," said Jim Gaz, senior director of travel and entertainment. "So they've got a wide area, tall ceilings and it's nice and bright and relatively easy to navigate."
OIA also got high marks for food and retail services.
Orlando also benefited from on-time flights.
"We actually saw a decline in the percent of passengers who experienced a delay."
Researchers asked over 21,000 passengers who took a round trip flight between April 2007 and March 2008.
