We all know AFGE is a union on the rise – we’re only inches away from adding our 300,000th member to our ranks. And every year for the last 24 years, we have added more brothers and sisters to our union family.
How do we do it? By organizing, of course! Our Membership & Organizing department is here to do everything we can to help you grow your local. Our National Organizing unit works hard to start new locals at worksites across the country, and to recruit new members for existing locals. Our National Organizers develop and coordinate organizing events like metros and lunch & learns. And through offers like rebates, we give our members the resources to sign up their friends and colleagues for AFGE membership, so that we can fight for better pay and benefits together.
