OSI's Rapiscan gets $13.2M TSA deal




The new contract will involved the implementation of the devices in the nation's airports.

The end goal is to link security equipment at 450 airports throughout the United States, allowing for real-time information sharing agency-wide.

Rapiscan is part of Hawthorne-based OSI Systems (NASDAQ: OSIS), a global developer, manufacturer and seller of security and inspection systems, medical monitoring and anesthesia products, and optoelectronic devices and subsystems.
