Passing of Longtime AFGE Activist Anthony Young

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of longtime AFGE member Anthony J. Young. Mr. Young was a dedicated union activist and leader in our movement for 50 years. As an SSA employee and member of our great union he served as president of AFGE Local 2206 for 24 years and president of Council 27 for 16 years.
Mr. Young set an example for generations to come to always strive for justice in the workplace. He will be deeply missed by his AFGE union family.
