Union recruiting TSA workers at Pittsburgh airport

The TSA was created after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks to screen passengers and improve airport security.

Opponents say unionizing the employees could hurt national security by allowing workers to strike and making it more difficult for supervisors to change work schedules. Union officials say the workers might not get the right to strike and TSA workers need to be protected from being overworked in stressful situations.
