Unions Make a Big Difference for Latinos

As Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15) comes to an end, we’re reflecting on the difference unions make for Latinos in the United States. While overall, 40% of Latino workers earn poverty level wages, Latinos earn more and have more protections when they belong to a union, according to a new report released by the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA).
