AFGE respects the rights of our employees, including their right to protest and criticize their employer. We also take seriously our obligation to be good stewards of our members’ dues dollars and ensure AFGE employees are meeting our members’ expectations.
When AFGE takes disciplinary action against employees, we do so for just cause, without discrimination, and in the best interest of our members. Claims to the contrary made by FNR-CWA Local 2385 about AFGE on their website are false. While it is certainly within their rights to make false claims, spreading false information makes resolving issues more difficult.
FNR-CWA Local 2385 is currently litigating these matters, as is their right. Because the litigation is ongoing, we will not issue further comment on these matters.
