WASHINGTON—Senator Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) will be featured this week on the American Federation of Government Employees’ (AFGE) radio program “Inside Government”. Stevens—vice chairman of the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee—spoke at AFGE’s recent Legislative and Grassroots Mobilization conference, and this week will address the economic stimulus package and efforts to expand the economy. “Inside Government” also recorded at the recent Campaign for America’s Future Take Back America 2008 conference. Hear from conference participants Elizabeth Bagley, former senior advisory to U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, and Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, former lieutenant governor of Maryland.
