We welcomed our 300,000th member to the AFGE family. We stopped a shutdown and put off the sequester for 2 years. And together, we finally got our workers a locality increase raise after years of a locality pay freeze.
Make no mistake about it - next year will be challenging. Members of Congress will do everything they can to try and cut our pay, our benefits, and our jobs. We will need to stand stronger than ever before.
But for now, let's celebrate our good health and good fortune with family and friends. We at AFGE wish you all a joyous holiday season, and thank you for all that you do.
