AFGE Council 241’s Census Blitz a Huge Success

AFGE welcomes 258 new members to the AFGE family following a successful Census Blitz! The AFGE Council 241’s recent organizing drive resulted in 41 new members at the Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland (Local 2782); 87 new members at a Jeffersonville, IN, location (Local 1438); 105 new members at its Tucson, AZ, location (Local 1207); and 25 new members at its Hagerstown office (Local 1923). The council now has 1,256 members.
The council thanks AFGE national leadership, the Membership and Organization Department, along with District 4, District 6, District 12, and District 14 leadership for the support and dedication in their organizing efforts. The council’s planning another blitz next year.
