The Council of Prison Locals is encouraging every BOP local to host at least one partnership meeting with management every quarter to foster a good working relationship. The council was recently notified by agency heads of their further commitment to see partnership realized at the local level. A new directive was forwarded to all Regional Directors for all Wardens advocating partnership meetings to be held locally.
“It has been five years since Obama signed the Partnership Executive Order, yet partnership still has not been realized locally. We are imploring all locals to at least endeavor to meet management half way,” said Council President Eric Young.
