Registration is now underway for the AFGE Defense Conference’s annual training, which will be held the first week of September at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.
This training is hosted by AFGE DEFCON and is open to all active and retired current AFGE members.
Participants can select from one of five three-day training tracks covering FLRA statutory rights, union leadership, intermediate steward’s training and arbitration, intermediate EEO training, and advanced EEO legal writing.
Travel days are Sept. 4 and Sept. 8, and the three-day training will occur Sept. 6-8.
The training registration fee is $150 and includes a daily lunch. Hotel rooms are $167 per night, plus taxes and fees.
