You’ve been calling for women’s and workers’ rights since before you can remember. You’ve been to all the rallies. You’ve made phone calls and sent letters to Congress and the White House. Aretha Franklin’s Respect is your national anthem. In other words, you are one heck of an activist. That’s why we’re happy to inform you of this gathering where you can find your tribe and get ready for the next rally.
We’re talking about the upcoming Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW) and Women’s Leadership Skills Conference to be held Nov. 13-16 in Las Vegas.
Conference sessions are designed to give you the skills you need to play a prominent role in your union and community. This training will offer several tracks of in-depth education such as skills for emerging leaders as well as a number of elective workshops such as how to have a courageous conversation. Check out the sessions here.
How much does it cost? $250 for CLUW members and $300 for non-members. Conference package prices include conference, materials, lunch each of the 3 days of the conference and a light reception. A $50 late fee applies after October 14th. All union members and allies are encouraged to attend.
Interested? Register online here. Room reservations at the Tropicana Las Vegas should be made ASAP. Click here for details of the conference.
