Congratulations to National President J. David Cox, Sr. on his appointment to the National Council on Federal Labor-Management Relations.
President Obama announced the appointment on July 15. The
Council was created in 2009 to advise the President on matters involving labor-management relations in the executive branch. The Council is co-chaired by Office of Personnel Management Director Katherine Archuleta and Office of Management and Budget Deputy Director for Management Beth Cobert.
President Cox’s appointment to the Council ensures that AFGE’s voice will be heard on important issues affecting the federal workforce for years to come.
