With the Trump administration deciding not to conduct a Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey this year, AFGE is partnering with the Partnership for Public Service to ensure federal employees can still share their workplace experiences during this critical time for the civil service.
The Public Service Viewpoint Survey takes less than 8 minutes to complete. The Partnership for Public Service – the nonprofit, nonpartisan organization behind the Best Places to Work in the Federal Government rankings for the past two decades – will aggregate data from the survey to understand how current management practices are affecting the federal workforce.
All responses are confidential. The email addresses being collected will help identify duplicate survey submissions and verify that responses are legitimate. After the survey closes, the Partnership will use a subset of the respondents’ emails and publicly available information to verify that individuals in the subset are people who meet the survey’s qualifications. This information will increase confidence in the validity of the sample.
The Partnership takes data storage very seriously and is collecting responses on a platform that uses end-to-end encryption. Only a few members of the Partnership’s data analysis team will have access to the data while it is being stored. Once their cleaning process is completed, all email addresses will be permanently deleted.
You can read more about the survey at this link and you can email additional questions to [email protected].
Employees should visit the survey website outside of working hours and on a personal device. The deadline to complete the survey is 11:59 p.m. ET Dec. 19.
