The President Has Two Words for Lawmakers Who Want to Cut Defense Jobs: ‘No Thanks’

President Barack Obama followed through on his veto threat and returned to Congress the 2016 National Defense Authorization Act, which authorizes spending on defense programs. One of the reasons he opposed the bill was that it did not increase investments for critical domestic programs.
