There are just a few days left to register for the 5th Annual Public Service Charity Walk/Run taking place on Sunday, May 7. Come out and show your support for federal employees, their families, and their charity, the Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund.
Why: The 5K Walk/Run is a good opportunity for friends and family to come together for a fun, healthy activity and show their appreciation for our public servants.
Where: The flagship event is in Washington, D.C., but if you can’t be in D.C. on May 5, you can sign up as a virtual or remote participant. Virtual/remote participants run or walk in their local communities with a group of friends or other Public Service Charity 5K supporters in area parks or trails. So gather a group of friends and sign up! Virtual/remote participants receive a T-shirt in the mail.
We also need volunteers! We are recruiting volunteers to help on May 7 in D.C. and across the country. Click here if you want to volunteer.
Regardless of whether you sweat it out in person or online, proceeds from the race will go back to federal employees in need through FEEA Feds Helping Feds charity. FEEA provides emergency loans, disaster relief grants, and scholarships to our dedicated civilian federal and postal public servants and their families.
Sign up now and see you in D.C.!
