In conjunction with the 42nd National Convention, we are conducting this contest to showcase the outstanding communications work being done by our locals, councils, caucuses, and districts. Over the last three years, you have shared newsletters, flyers, posters, pamphlets, and billboards, not to mention launched websites, social media pages, and created videos.
Through a friendly competition with other AFGE affiliates, you can enter your work in our 2022 AFGE Communications Awards contest and see who takes home the trophy!
Don’t miss this chance for the opportunity to be recognized for your work!
Here are 5 tips to make the contest submission process quick & easy:
The contest deadline is 11:59 p.m. ET, Friday, March 4!
This year we’re also excited to introduce the AFGE Labor Communications Members’ Choice Award. Once the submission deadline closes, contest judges will select a pool of entries to be judged for the award. AFGE members will have the chance to vote on which member-created communication piece should be crowned the members’ choice.
All winners will be notified via email by Monday, April 4, 2022. Awards will be distributed at the AFGE 42nd National Convention in Orlando, Fla. Entrants need not be present to win.
We look forward to receiving your entries!
