Author of "The Squandering of America", AFGE District Six NVP on "Inside Government"
WASHINGTON—Robert Kuttner, author of “The Squandering of America: How the Failure of Our Politics Undermines Our Prosperity”, and Arnold Scott, American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) District Six National Vice President, will be featured on AFGE’s radio program “Inside Government” this week. Kuttner will discuss the critical role unions play in taking back America’s financial security. Scott will highlight ways his district is fighting for workers’ rights at the Transportation Security Administration and Department of Defense. The show will air on Friday, Nov. 16 at 10:00 a.m. EDT nationwide on www.federalnewsradio.com and 1050 AM in the Washington, D.C., area.
“Inside Government” is a one-hour weekly nationwide radio/Internet program dedicated to issues that impact all federal and D.C. government employees. In launching “Inside Government”, AFGE became one of the first unions and the only federal workers’ union to have a national broadcast program on the air.
