WASHINGTON - U.S. Comptroller General David Walker and Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-N.D.) will appear on the American Federation of Government Employees’ (AFGE) radio program “Inside Government” this week. Mr. Walker will discuss the Government Accountability Office’s (GAO) goals for working with the incoming Congress, while Sen. Dorgan will detail his recent book, “Take This Job and Ship It: How Corporate Greed and Brain-Dead Politics Are Selling Out America”. Also featured on the program will be Enid Doggett, AFGE Communications Director, who will discuss the role of the communications department within AFGE. The show will air on Friday, Dec. 22 at 10:00 a.m. EST nationwide on www.federalnewsradio.com and 1050 AM in the Washington, D.C., area.
“Inside Government” is a one-hour weekly nationwide radio/Internet program dedicated to issues that impact all federal and D.C. government employees. In launching “Inside Government”, AFGE became one of the first unions and the only federal workers’ union to have a national broadcast program on the air.
