Recording or Livestreaming of NEC Meetings
Except for the official AFGE recording that is used to compile the official minutes, the use of all electronic recording devices at sessions of the NEC or its committees is prohibited, and attendees and guests are prohibited from audio or video recording, livestreaming, broadcasting, or otherwise transmitting the proceedings of the NEC or its committees.
This rule shall not apply to a member of the NEC who uses a telephone or other equipment to dial in to a meeting when such NEC member is unable to attend the proceedings in person – due to illness or other exigent circumstance.
