Department of Labor issued new procedures to make it easier for high-risk federal employees to get workers compensation if they contract coronavirus.

Physicians at the VA hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, have voted to join AFGE and become part of the labor movement that stands for good jobs and a voice at work. The new unit, which comprises approximately 180 physicians, will be represented by AFGE Local 3669. Despite obstruction from the VA Human Resources and anti-union emails from individual managers, AFGE prevailed in the election, which took place Aug. 15. Congratulations to all!
