Good morning! Here’s an overview of what’s on tap today:
Delegate check-in: Stop by the Champagne Ballroom exhibit hall today to check-in before tomorrow’s rush. Hours are 10 a.m.-1 p.m., 3-6 p.m., and 7-10 p.m.
Interfaith service: Come together for fellowship and reflection before starting the busy week ahead – all without leaving the hotel! All are welcome to attend our interfaith service from 9:30 a.m.-noon in Jubilee 3.
Exhibit hall closes: Today’s the last day to visit the exhibit hall, as all but a handful of exhibits will be packing up tonight. Hours are from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., 3-6 p.m., and 7-10 p.m.
New delegate trainings: Orientation sessions will be held today for delegates and alternate delegates attending the convention for the first time. Attendance is highly encouraged. Sessions will be held from 1-3 p.m. and again from 4-6 p.m., both in Las Vegas 4-6.
Y.O.U.N.G. meeting: AFGE members under age 40, and seasoned mentors of any age, will get together this afternoon to discuss how to engage our youngest activists. Meeting is from 2-4 p.m. in Bronze 3.
Fund the Fight Seminar: Hear an overview of the proposed resolution to increase the per capita tax and learn why this investment is critical to our survival. The seminar runs from 7-10 p.m. in the Jubilee Room.
Council meetings: AFGE councils are meeting today and throughout the week to discuss resolutions and other convention business. Check the Convention App for the complete schedule.
