Per Article VI, Section 8 of the AFGE National Constitution, all AFGE officers, whether elected or appointed, are required to attend, virtually or in person, the Financial Officers Training class within 60 days of assuming office, or the first available Financial Officers Training class if one is not available within 60 days of assuming office. After attending the initial Financial Officers Training class, all AFGE officers are required to take the Financial Officers Training class virtually or in-person every two years while holding office.
