Each One Teach One

AFGE's mentoring program is designed to foster relationships and pass on skills between seasoned AFGE members and leaders (mentors) and new AFGE members and leaders in leadership roles (mentees). Each cohort will spend twelve weeks in the program with participants committing approximately 1-2 hours per week.

The key components of the program are simple:

  • Mentors and mentees will apply and complete a profile to be matched with one another
  • They will have the opportunity to meet and collaborate using an online portal
  • They will be expected to attend a conference with their partner on a regular basis

The application process for the next group of mentors and mentees is now open! The next group will begin mid-May, 2018. If you are selected for this round, we will contact you for an interview. Following the interview process, selection and cohort assignments will be finalized. For more information please email us at mentoring@afge.org.
