AFGE Local 3403 consists of researchers, scientists, and administrative employees across multiple agencies. Our local was organized in 1976 representing the National Science Foundation (NSF). Our local continues to grow and represents employees at the Institute of Musuem and Library Services (IMLS), National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), National Science Foundation (NSF), United States Department of Agriculture Agencies (ERS, FS, NIFA), and United States Geological Survey (CASC and Reston).
