Benvenuti /Welcome to Local 3712! Our Local represents bargaining unit employees at the U.S. Naval Support Activity for the Europe and Africa Navy Region out of Naples, Italy. The Navy Region covers U.S. Navy facilities in Naples (Capodichino, Gricignano, Carney Park), and facilities at Gaeta, and Sigonella. We have been around for over 60 years and are the only remaining active AFGE Union in Europe at the present time (we are based in Southern Italy and Sicily).

According to the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples, Italy is a host to more than 50 separate military commands and approximately 8,500 personnel. NSA Naples is located approximately 60 miles (96 kilometers) south of the city of Gaeta and 145 miles (235 kilometers) from Rome. Naples is nestled against the stunning backdrop of the Bay of Naples and framed by the majestic Vesuvius, the work environment is more than just a military installation—it's a dynamic hub where camaraderie, innovation, and excellence converge. AFGE Local 3712 is proud to help uphold the commitment to U.S. security and service.
