Proposed Disciplinary Actions

Prior to disciplining an employee, Management must issue a notice proposing the penalty that the employee is to recieve. Employees have seven (7) days from the day they recieve the proposal to file a response with Management. A response can be made both in writing and orally. Because of the short time frame to respond to the notice of proposed discipline, employees should always request a fourteen day extension of time to respond from the deciding official.
