It’s that time of year again. Open Season for the 2016 Federal Benefits year began on November 14 and runs through December 12. During this period, you can enroll in government health benefits plans, cancel enrollment, or change plans or options within plans.
Most plans will see benefits and rate changes and some plans are dropping out of the program, so you want to review your coverage during this period to make sure you have the coverage that suits your needs for the upcoming year.

Permanent federal civilian employees, qualifying part-time employees, and certain seasonal employees are eligible for coverage.
