Charters/Disbands/Mergers
Charters, disbands and mergers are generally initiated by a District National Vice President (NVP). The NVP makes a written request to either charter, disband or merger a local to the Office of the National President, with a copy to the Office of the National Secretary-Treasurer (NST). Once the Office of the National President has granted their approval, the NST’s Office will begin the process and see it to completion. There are many exciting changes being planned for the re-launch of the NST Webpage. The website will still contain information that is helpful to many members such as the QuickBooks datafile, Budget Template, Resource Manuals, videos, etc. However, we will also include financial reports on the finances of AGE. This is in response to a call from the delegates at the 2018 National Convention to provide greater financial transparency. Also, we will offer interactive Financial Officers Classes on the NST Webpage. These will not be the full courses that we teach at the Financial Officers Training Class, but smaller snippets of vital information to whet your appetite for the full Financial Officers Training Class. Look for these changes in February 2019.

- February 13-15, 2019 (This class is the same week as the Legislative Conference. Therefore, the class will be Wednesday through Friday. Please plan travel for Saturday, February 16, 2019)
