What do U.S. companies like Goodyear, ExxonMobil, and Freeport-McMoRan have in common? A long record of horrendous labor and human rights abuses disguised as a campaign for freedom and democracy in Indonesia. It all started with the work of an international union, IUF, which sent a documentary film maker to teach plantation workers to make a film about their own struggles to form a union.
