Chaffetz to Succeed Issa as Chair of House Government Reform Committee

Rep. Jason Chaffetz of Utah will succeed Rep. Darrell Issa of California next year as chairman of the powerful House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Chaffetz, who heads the oversight panel’s subcommittee on national security, beat out Reps. Michael Turner and Jim Jordan for the chairmanship.
