DHA Council Update
AFGE is actively building a new union council to represent employees within the Defense Health Agency (DHA). As part of this effort, AFGE National President Everett Kelley recently appointed members to serve on the DHA Interim Council:
- Council President: Robert Mooney
- Executive Vice President: Angelina Torres
- Second Vice President: Mark De Unger
- Treasurer: Jodi Engler
- Secretary: Katrise Newman
Network Representatives:
- East Network: Maurice Gibbs
- Atlantic Network: Chevelle Beasley
- Central Network: Matt Pagliaro
- West Network: Terry Flemings
- Indo-Pacific/Pacific Rim Networks: Michelle Nicks
- National Capital Region: David Pitts
- Continental Network: Earl “Rocky” Tasse
- Headquarters: Latricia Gray
- Europe: Vacant (Europe has not yet been certified)
These interim roles will remain in place until full council elections are scheduled and held. Once finalized, the DHA Council will become one of the five largest agency-level bargaining units within AFGE. We are working hard to ensure that DHA Europe has strong representation on the council. With your support, we can establish a Europe Coordinator who will serve your interests at the national level.
