The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) will release a recently-commissioned white paper analyzing the problems besetting TSA and proposing effective solutions. Among other issues, the white paper includes findings on the dangers of opting out and lack of screener rights.

AFGE National President John Gage will be joined by federal airport screeners Justin Rooney and Kim Kraynak, who will offer a first-hand account of the difficulties faced by screeners, including the need for better training and for collective bargaining rights.
