Through training programs for local financial officers, the department gives a hands-on, step-by-step guide to reconciling accounts, filing cash receipts, and billing—keeping AFGE locals and councils on the right side of the law. By educating our officers on how best to handle the members’ money, and keeping our finances in order, we can keep our union Big Enough to Win.
