There's a political wild goose chase unfolding before our eyes in Congress – and it's not what you think.
This week, H.R. 1461 – a bill aimed at stripping VA employees of official time rights – may come to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives for a vote.
Official time is when union representatives and managers work together to make the work place better. This attack is union busting – plain and simple. All it does is introduce anti-union legislation, instead of working to solve the real problem facing the VA.
