In January, we will have a new Congress, and they need to meet you!

Join us at the 2019 Legislative and Grassroots Mobilization Conference on February 10-13, 2019. Come to Washington, DC to stand up, unite, and fight for your rights as federal and D.C. government employees and union brothers and sisters. Now is the time! Come to Capitol Hill and hold Congress accountable for protecting our representation rights. Let’s stand, unite, and fight!

The Women’s and Fair Practices Departments will also host several diversity and inclusion events and initiatives to make sure that all of our members feel welcomed at AFGE’s Legislative Conference, including an AFGE Pride (LGBT) meeting and workshop around sexual harassment. We hope that you can bring your young AFGE members and mentors to attend our Y.O.U.N.G. (Young Organizing Unionists for the Next Generation) AFGE workshop and social event on Sunday February 10th.

Don’t miss out on your chance to have your voice heard

This is a crucial moment for federal and D.C. government employees. We must work in unity to raise our voices and tell Congress about the important work that we do.

We want to encourage Congress to advocate for working families and protect our pay, retirement, benefits, and representation rights. We must educate our elected officials about the value of our work. Together, we will build a stronger pro-worker bipartisan coalition in the 116th Congress.

Let’s stand, unite, and fight!
