“I have dedicated over 21 years of my life to the union movement, fighting tirelessly for the rights of workers. My journey began in 2002 when I joined the union and became a steward, driven by a strong desire to protect and advocate for my fellow colleagues. In 2008, I was elected as the secretary and appointed as the local fair practice coordinator, working relentlessly to ensure fairness and equality prevailed in the workplace.
Elected to various positions within the union, including president and Western Region Fair Practice Coordinator since 2016, I continue to lead with pride and determination.
Additionally, I am a proud member of the AFGE Council of Prisons Locals (CPL-33) serving my colleagues at the Federal Bureau of Prisons. I am excited and honored to share my experiences with the Magnificent AFGE District 11!”
