AFGE’s communications team is among the best in the labor movement, and our recent results from the Labor Media Awards prove it!
AFGE’s Communication Department won big at this year’s International Labor Communications Organization (ILCA) awards with 10 awards! We took home three first-place awards, two second-place awards, three third place awards, and two honorable mentions.
“I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with this amazing team of union communicators at AFGE,” said Director of Communications T. Andrew Huddleston. “Every day, each member of our team brings a level of effort, skill, passion, and dedication that is truly remarkable. Without a doubt, they deserve the recognition they have earned.”
The annual ILCA Labor Media Awards honor writing, visual communications, social media, video, and web-based work about the labor movement’s mission, challenges, and victories.
