Without due process, we cannot have a democratic system. Only in a dictatorship where citizens are not protected by a system of due process and could be wrongfully punished. Unfortunately, some politicians are taking our country in that direction.

The Supreme Court's 5-4 ruling in Janus v. AFSCME is another effort to weaken workplace protections and advance corporate interests. The ruling follows another Supreme Court decision in which the high court ruled that companies can force employees into lengthy and expensive one-on-one arbitration procedures instead of allowing them to pursue class-action grievances.
